Spring is in full swing with warmer days upon us - and the time for afternoon G&Ts could not be more perfect. To coincide with this blissful weather, the team at Little Things has re-released their limited seasonal batch of Strawberry gin for 2023.
As always, the Strawberry Gin is made using fresh strawberries sourced from local growers in Western Australia. The fresh fruit is hand-picked and macerated immediately in gin for approximately 3 days to create a light, dry style gin, perfect for warmer days. Traditional botanicals including juniper, fennel and lemon myrtle combine perfectly with the sweetness and aroma of fresh strawberry. The 2023 release is a lighter style, in both palate and appearance compared with previous releases and is incredibly easy to drink neat or mix in a G&T and cocktail.
Some of our favourites include a G&T made with light tonic and garnished with fresh strawberries and mint. Alternatively the Strawberry gin shines in a Gin Sour if a cocktail is your game!
